Deepening Day 34: the line between "the passage supports this" and "this sounds reasonable given the passage" is the single most tested distinction in RC Inference, and it's worth a full dedicated day.

The Support Test

For any candidate inference, ask: "can I point to the specific sentence(s) that force this to be true, the way I would for an LR Must Be True answer?" If the answer requires filling in real-world knowledge the passage doesn't supply, it's merely plausible, not supported — and it's wrong.

D. It's a Detail question, not Inference

Correct answer: B. One data point doesn't support an indefinite continuation claim — that's exactly the RC-EXTREME / unsupported-projection trap.
